there are now more captive bred tigers in the U.S than there are in the wild. Sadly, they are too oftern not properly cared for. This tiger above was one of seven in a encolusre within the Exotic Feline Rescue Centre. All had been abused or unproperly cared for before they were rescued and given a forever home at the shelter. One of the tigers named venus who was rescued as a cub and was previously used in a photo booth operation. When her and other tigers had gotton too big to be safe, they became an "inconvenience and danger" and where to be desposed of. Few tigers were ever rescued, Venus being one of them.
another problem is the current rules about keeping a wild animal right now (such as a tiger). They need only enough room to stand up, sit and turn around in. This is wrong. Speard the awarness to better these animals futures and stop animal cruelty
